The role:
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of all regulatory, tax and financial reporting
- Support external auditor for the annual audits
- In charge of day-day finance operations, ensure internal controls, streamline accounting procedures and activities
- Prepare and review balance sheet / control accounts reconciliations and ensure the correct balance report Prepare monthly management accounts and variance analysis
- Maintenance of General Ledger and Account Reconciliation monthly
- Oversee local statutory reporting requirements to the regulators in Singapore
- Assist in the budgeting and planning process
- Ensure month end; quarter end and year end closings are timely
Requirements
- Degree in Finance, Accounting or Business and above
- Candidates with CPA/ACCA would be preferred
- Candidate must have working experience in accounting in the insurance industry. General insurance knowledge will be highly appreciated.
