WEB OPERATING DEVELOPER

Requirements

• Max age 30
• Ability to read/write in English
• Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Passionate about technology and solving IT operations‐focused problems
• Must be detail oriented, task driven, and have excellent communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with others in and outside organization to accomplish objectives
  

Web Operations skills we are interested in

• OS (Ubuntu‐Linux)
• Web servers (nginx, AWS, EC2)
• Automated deployment (chef, puppet, capistrano)

Development skills we are interested in

• Back end/Server side (RoR, ruby, python, java , REST)
• Front end – HTML, CSS, jQuery, JavaScript/CoffeeScript and Ajax
• Database (MySQL, SQL scripting)
• Source control (git, svn)
