- Will handle complex IT infrastructure projects in an enterprise environment (with focus on storage and application migration, transition and strategy activities)
- Central point of contact between client and the customer
- Project management implementation activities, conduct project status update/provide weekly status reporting to the project stakeholders. Develop & execute full-scale project plan & project schedule
- Coordination for Proof of Concept (POC) setup & demonstration; to work closely with the Sales/Pre-sales team
- Attend discussion to craft SOW contracts for vendors & sub-contractors as per project requirement
- Service account management related responsibilities as whenever as required
Job requirements:
- 8-10 Years project management experience or in similar capacity. Consideration will also be given for someone who has a strong technical background but has just started PM work for the past 2-3 years
- Extensive project management exposure in large infrastructure projects. Priority should be given to projects that encompasses:
- Large Backup Consolidation Projects
- Large Storage Tech Refresh Projects
- Large Data Migration Projects
- Large DR Projects
- Knowledge in SAN/EMC Products is advantageous
- Knowledge in Databases such as Microsoft SQL, Oracle and Oracle RAC is advantageous.
- Knowledge in VMWare is added Advantageous
- Ability to perform presentation into a technical crowd and in some cases senior management
- Problem solving skills.
- Good communication Skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to multi-task as a lot of projects will be running on the same time.
- Willing to work on odd hours, weekends and public holidays.
